I recently heard that my "Good Fortune" letterbox is alive and well,
and that seemed like a good excuse to ask people for restaurant
recommendations in Oakland's Chinatown.
Robb's parents are visiting and have expressed an interest in eating
in Chinatown. The problem is that his mom is actually a
non-adventurous eater, so I can't take them anywhere too "Challenging."
Any thoughts?

There was recently an episode of "Check Please Bay Area" in which they
tried a vegetarian restaurant in Oakland Chinatown:
It's the first one, the Golden Lotus. It was reviewed favorably:
